The thickness of the ring, despite being 1.2 mm, might seem large, but Unusual Piercing Shop wants to remind you that the very thin rings found in stores (not in professional studios) are made of very poor quality material, precisely because it is not possible to make a good metal alloy so thin and bendable.
If you have a navel piercing, don't worry about the slightly thinner gauge; if the piercing is fully healed, the skin is very elastic, and you will be able to easily insert the previous jewelry.
The closure is a Click closure, meaning there is no chance of losing the jewelry as it can be closed by pressing the segment inwards until a simple 'click' is heard. No more usual rings that deform or open; choose quality jewelry!

Regarding barbells, the length varies depending on the type of piercing. Clearly, every anatomy is different, so it's always best to consult the professional who performed your piercing to accurately determine the right size for your ear. However, generally, these are the sizes we recommend:
- Helix: 6mm, in the case of thicker cartilage 8mm
- Tragus: 8mm
- Snug: 8mm curved barbell
- Lobe: 6mm
- Forward helix: 6mm
- Rook: 8mm curved barbell
- Flat: 6mm
- Conch: 8mm
Even for clickers, or hoops, sizes can vary based on anatomy, but generally we recommend:
- Helix: 8mm (10mm if the ear's curvature is very thick)
- Tragus: 6mm
- Snug: 6mm
- Lobe: you can choose between 12/10/8/6mm depending on the piercing's placement. The higher the piercing, the smaller the size we recommend if you want to create a scaled effect.
- Forward helix: 6mm Rook: 6mm
- Conch: 10mm (12mm if your piercing was done further in)
