Martina, after a 6-year career as a body piercer, felt that something was missing in this field to make the art of piercing special. With the desire for this practice to reach as many people as possible, she rolled up her sleeves to look for something different from the usual.
So, after months of careful research and endless quality tests, she decided to offer her local clients a small selection of jewelry. The unique feature was that these pieces were not ordinary steel costume jewelry, but were crafted from ASTM F136 titanium, the same implant-grade material used for medical prostheses. It can be stated with certainty that this is absolutely the best metal, even better than gold, especially for those with particularly sensitive skin.
START 2022
As it was an absolute novelty, precisely because very few piercers in Italy had this type of jewelry, sales increased tremendously, and that's not all!
Thanks to the purchase of a latest-generation autoclave that sterilized piercings in less than 7 minutes, Martina began offering these titanium models directly for initial piercings. This meant saying goodbye to those plain silver balls and immediately fitting a beautiful piece of jewelry. The number of jewelry pieces also began to increase significantly.
2023
Martina is increasingly specialising in creating compositions, which involves the extremely detailed study of anatomy, very often of the ear, for each client, adorning it with jewellery that can fully highlight it. Thanks to the photos posted on Instagram and the content on TikTok, the jewellery is gaining more and more visibility, so much so that more and more people throughout Italy were asking where the jewellery could be purchased.

Martina decided to open the website she would call Unusual Piercing Shop precisely because the goal was to offer a vast selection of jewelry that, in addition to being completely hypoallergenic and offering a metal far superior to surgical steel, were not the usual models that can be found online. In short, the only main objective was to offer shapes, colors, and styles that were impossible to find elsewhere and could satisfy anyone's tastes.
